Personally, I don't like to start a verse with the same one or two words every single time. You need to work on a solid rhyme/rhythmic scheme. You can use A-B-A-B as a rhyming-scheme. or A-B-B-A as a scheme, another example is the A-A-B-B scheme, although, in my opinion, that's a little bit child-like rhyming, you can start your verses with observations, things you have seen, that's how I write my poetry all the time. Just think up a theme, and write down a few verses, scrap a few, edit some, it's all trial and error.

Why does everyone say middle school is so dramatic?

I just had my first day and it seems fine to me. Everyone was nice except for some of the older kids who laugh whenever a 6th grader asks a question. Some of the older kids are nice! They helped me get to cl and called me smart (Not the gross abbreviation XD). I didn't have lunch because I was late but I had one person from elementary school at recess and we talked for a minute then I went of and listened to music. Harry Potter fans! Do any of you find it annoying that people call them children's books/movies?

Nissan Techs Available? 1996 240SX SRS Light On?

My cars SRS light is on constantly. I read in the FSM that if the light is on all the time that there is a problem with either the wriring, computer, or the airbags themselves. I know with toyota siennas the penger side airbag connector will have loose pin fit causing the SRS light to illuminate. Does anyone know of something like this to happen with the 240SX? I can't pull codes w/o CONSULT since the light is on steady, if it was flashing I would be able to using the door switch method (according to the FSM). The car hasn't been in any accidents or deployed the airbags. I'm confused and don't want to shotgun parts at it and Nissan wants $125 for a diag, a little to much coin for me right now. Thanks

MIL hollers to her she needs to go pick it up (in a mean tone) and then before she even gives her a second to take a step to go get it, she snatches her by her arm! I said "you don't have to be so darn mean to her" and it all went from there. she blew the hell up at me and started cussing and fussing with me and her other granddaughter (26) said she always acts like that. I'm like, well she asks SS nicely SEVERAL times before getting on him and doesn't ever as SD nicely and she's younger! It ended with me telling her that she's more than welcome to leave my home and I'm sorry if I offended her. She mentioned don't say sorry, bc I'm not and then left calling me a B*tch. I don't think I was out the way for standing up for my girl, I mean it wasn't anything serious. If she had thrown a tantrum or crossed her arms and pouted when she was asked to pick it up, I wouldn't have said anything to MIL, I would have re-iterated to SD to pick it up. But MIL didn't even give her a chance to react. Not to mention she always says mean remarks towards her. Was I wrong? I should have just left it at that and not fed into her screaming match, but damn, she's your grandbaby too. I want to apologize for arguing with her, but I want it understood that I still don't feel right with the fact that she's mean to her. The favoritism is one thing (buys SS candy, donuts, cookies, etc all the time and says he doesn't have to share) I can deal with that because when MIL leaves, SS has to share anyway. But being mean to a 2 yo?? Come on.

I think National Geographic in Spanish has a very good standard Spanish. Also, Discovery and History in Spanish. All of these are international channels. The problem is the more local channels and even some programs in big chains like Univision and Telemundo, that sometimes use local accents and words, specially from Mexico, or Dominican Republican, that are not understood by all Spanish speakers.

How can I stop biting my nails?

Since I was quite young I have bitten my nails. It's not just a case of biting them when I'm bored or nervous, it has become a habit and I often do it unconsciously. I also bite them way past the quick, so that they often hurt or bleed. I have tried, in the past, to quit biting them, but I find using the bad-tasting nail polish or putting plasters over my nails does not deter me. Also, even if I do stop for a while, I will always get back into the habit so I'm not sure what to try now. Would it be worth visiting my doctor? And if so, what sort of things would they suggest? Are there are other methods that chronic nail-biters could try?

My friend pretends to be my daughter's mother?

I have a friend who likes to pretend she is my daughter's mother. For example, we were going to visit her and her husband one night shorty after my daughter's birthday. Then, we were shopping the other day and my daughter asked me for a blue drink at DQ. I said we could get one when we were done. My friend s in and says, "I will get you one if you are good while we are shopping". Then she flat out says later to my daughter "you're my pretend kid, aren't you?" Also, we were talking about the super-cold weather we're getting this week and my friend felt she needed to make sure that I have everything to keep my daughter warm. I love my friend to death and don't want to upset her but I feel like she is totally trying to undermine my position as a parent. Don't get me wrong, I don't care if, for example, she tells my daughter not to play with something in her house, or play rough on her couch, or something else that effects her. Could ear infections clear away on its own?

I've been having ear aches, congested ear and ringing. I've been using the Similisan drops, hydrogen peroxide and a neti pot with decongestant drops, and my ear doesn't feel as bad as last week when it all started, but the ringing continues and keep waking up with the ear congestion that gradually eases up during the day. I was at the doctor before this all started with a sore throat and she told me it would go away by itself and it did, so haven't gone back for the ear thing since I keep reading antibiotics are not always recommended or they build resistance. Should I keep waiting for it to clear, or spend money going to the doctor again?

If you make a chain circle of x number of chains, just keep going round with that same number for x inches in the stitch you have chosen, then when you want to curve, you need to increase one on one side and decrease one on the other side. Well, since you're starting out, it doesn't really matter what you start on, although most people recommend starting on an acoustic. If you are really considering buying a different guitar though, I think you should go to Guitar Center, where there are tons of guitars. Try out different guitars, it's much easier to decide on a guitar when you've actually played the guitar and know how it's going to sit on your leg, you know what the action is like, you know how well it stays in tune, and you know whether you like the sound or not.That is how I pick out my guitars, but I do look around online and I always know what I want the guitar to look like, although I don't always pick one that looks like what I wanted it to.

You shouldn't look for who's to blame, but figure out a way to fix this problem. It was not a good idea to get angry right off the bat and then cheat on your wife in such a way. Think about how the reason could have made your x-girlfriend feel for one, and second, what if you sleeping w/ that girlfriend caused your wife to decide to cheat on you? Marriage is supposed to be a partnership, and your wife need to calmly discuss what you feel and DON'T start playing the 'blame game'. That will get you no where. A calm conversation can go a long way to a more satisfying ending. Think about your daughter and what's best for her. A secure family and loving parents. You can bring this up with your wife and ask what you two could do to make this better, and you can tell her you're sorry for jumping to conclusions and sleeping w/ your x-girlfriend and ask she stop sleeping around with the other man. Your family could remain friends with him and his daughter, but the cheating NEEDS TO STOP. I hope this helps! :)

I say you definitely got the better end. You can find new solid closers every season, but elite starting pitchers like Felix are a commodity. Besides, as long as Gonzalez is with San Diego, his production won't reach full potential. If Gonzalez gets traded this season then it's a more even trade, but for now, I think you got the better end. Do keep in mind Berkman will probably be out for the first few weeks of the season due to injury so you'll wanna pick up a backup (if you haven't already) quickly.
