Why do American racists condemn the acts of Adolf Hitler?

You have your average redneck racist who has a strong dislike for blacks, jews and other minorities but yet this same type of person says hitler was wrong and evil. I don't get it? I don't mean just rednecks either, I mean pretty much all racist americans. They all preach racist crap but think o'l Adolf was evil. Interesting isn't it?
