Do you think there is ever a time that visiting our wounded soldiers is "inappropriate"?

No. He should have visited the troops, with or without the media. He should have visited them and waited to give that speech until he went to France. I'm a Democrat and I think that's the bottom line. I don't have to worship him to vote for him. I am able to acknowledge mistakes even in those I intend to vote for and I'm doing so right now. When I asked a question regarding this in here just a short time ago, I got nailed by several Democrats who are calling me a troll, a Republican and a McCain plant - simply because I dare to say this has bothered me a lot. Get a grip people. Obama is not the Second Coming, and he has faults just like McCain does. Most of those faults I let slide just for that reason, we're ALL human. But this issue bothered me enough that I decided to address it. My fellow Democrats don't like it? Oh, well. I'm sure the thumbs down will make it hard for me to sleep tonight.
