Between NYC and Tokyo which one is more expensive?

Generally speaking it's Tokyo. Everything there is expensive when compared to the US and the current rate of exchange is almost even so you get no dollar exchange break at the present time.However, if you've never been to Tokyo...it's worth the extra expense...a whole different world.
