Can anyone tell me how to crochet a tube shape in a curve for a toys tail please?

If you make a chain circle of x number of chains, just keep going round with that same number for x inches in the stitch you have chosen, then when you want to curve, you need to increase one on one side and decrease one on the other side. It may need a bit of playing around with to get the exact effect you need.
