Why does everyone hate the LA Lakers?

Im not talking about die hard boston fans. But i've been reading the stuff hear, and everyone who's team lost in the playoffs, or didn't make it to the playoffs, suddenly become Boston Celtics fans. Why?? (i.e. "boo hoo, my warriors lost, so im gonna become a Celtics fan") even though the Warriors are a californian team, why vote for a team on the other side of the country. Im not bagging on the Warriors, even though they suck and Warriors fans seem to think that they would do a better job against the celtics than the lakers did. But why does everyone hate the Lakers? did everyone jump on the boston bandwagon? Come on where are the die-hard laker fans?
