Does the ping of Steve Irwin mean no more Crocodile Dundee sequels?

I heard rumors they were planning a fourth and final Crocodile Dundee sequel, but I doubt they will go forth with it with the ping of Steve Irwin. I loved him in the first two movies. The much belated third sequel was only descent. Is he still married to his female costar in those movies?
