I think National Geographic in Spanish has a very good standard Spanish. Also, Discovery and History in Spanish. All of these are international channels. The problem is the more local channels and even some programs in big chains like Univision and Telemundo, that sometimes use local accents and words, specially from Mexico, or Dominican Republican, that are not understood by all Spanish speakers.
